Importance

My dear friend has cancer. My dear friend who has helped me countless times. I literally could not begin to count. We have been friends for more than 20 years. She has been my problem-solver, my strength, and my cheerleader. She gives and loves so freely. I bet she has no idea how loved she is and how many people she has touched.

Cancer. It is so unjust. Why can't it be the bad people who get cancer? Where do I begin to help?

Due to some other health issues and Covid, she is generally staying out of public and not seeing friends. So I will pray for her. I will send her love and light and keep her in my thoughts. I will send her cards to make her laugh. I will try to be the friend to others that she has been to me.
